Welcome to Christian Fellowship and the Zoom Bible Study

"All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We are a group of fellow believers in Jesus Christ. We are followers of The Way. We believe in the one true God in three persons. God the Father, God the Son, who was fully God and fully man, and God the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead. We believe in the forgiveness of sins and salvation of mankind through Jesus Christ alone. As Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Our goal is to learn and grow together in God’s word. We welcome all who are interested in learning, growing, sharing, or simply listening as we explore the message and truths the Holy Spirit reveals to us in the Bible. We are here to encourage and support one another to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

This Zoom study began in the early part of 2020 with a few friends. And by the grace and mercy of God, it has grown and continues to grow and bring in new brothers and sisters from all over. This has truly been a blessing to see us open up and share the word with new brethren. Although we generally host 15 or more people during a Zoom study, we try to include everyone and make an effort to ensure all feel welcome and comfortable sharing if they please.

"You have been set apart as holy to the Lord your God, and He has chosen you from all the nations of the earth to be His own special treasure." - Deuteronomy 14:2 NLT

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians 3:16-17 ESV
Studying God’s Word Together

Jesus calls us to have a relationship with Him. His word is food for our spirit. As Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

We encourage everyone to have a relationship with Jesus on their own and to read their Bible daily. We face spiritual warfare each and every day as we are individually tempted. You don’t want to enter into a spiritual battle with the enemy without the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-17).

Fellowship with Believers
2nd Annual Fellowship BBQ

Hebrews 10:25“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.”

We are more than a Bible study. God built a family of faithful believers who are living His word in community with one other. Fellowship is biblical as is breaking bread with one another in person. For this we gather annually for a summer BBQ and a potluck in the Fall for Operations Christmas Child . We encourage the brethren of the Bible Study Group to join us. It’s a blessing to put a real face to a Zoom face and fellowship in person.

Prayer Requests
Praying with and for each other

There is power in prayer! Jesus prayed for us and we should pray for each other. As Jesus said in John 17:9-11“I pray from them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be as one as We are.”

You can send prayer requests to any of our emails below. We would love to pray with and for you. We are united through prayer and worship!

Jesus modeled prayer life and its importance. As we read in the Gospel of Mark 1:35, "Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray." After He spent an entire evening healing various diseases and casting out many demons, He made time for prayer. Let's be intentional about prayer time and make our requests known to the God who hears us.

A.W. Tozer

“When the Holy Spirit is in full control of our lives. He will expect our obedience to the written Word of God. But it is part of our human problem that we would like to be full of the Spirit and yet go on and do as we please!”

Charles Spurgeon

“Christians are not so much in danger when they are persecuted as when they are admired.”

“I have now concentrated all my prayers into one, and that one prayer is this, that I may die to self, and live wholly to Him”

A.W. Tozer

“No one can know the truth except the one who obeys truth. You think you know the truth. People memorize the Scriptures by the yard, but that is not a guarantee of knowing the truth. Truth is not in a text. Truth is in the text, but it takes the text plus the Holy Spirit to bring truth to a human soul.”

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1

"When I say to the wicked, 'You shall surely die,' and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand." Ezekiel 3:18
